Very snowy start to March

Hello, What a week we are having weather wise, it really doesn't feel like the first of March.  Hope everyone is managing to stay safe and warm.  Louise wasn't able to come round this week because all the local schools have been closed due to the weather for two days now and I have just had a text from Louise to say school will be closed again tomorrow.

We have been waiting for some more new yarns to arrive but the delivery keeps getting delayed.

These were taken on Tuesday from our walk to the post office...

I have been busy sewing my knitted blanket together.....

Louise has finished her first sock using Opal Safari in Tanzania, it has knitted up so well and she has even cast on the second sock already.

baa ram ewe We do have some new yarns listed from baa ram ewe. We have three beautiful colours of the Winterburn DK which is 100% British spun and dyed in Yorkshire.  Its a blend of 50% Blue faced Leicester, 25% Ecru Masham, 25% dark brown Masham.  I have also listed this wonderful book, Dovestone Smallholding by Ella Austin which has patterns for knitted toys.
