New Year, New Resolutions and WIPs
Hello Happy New Year
Frosty start this morning, although we are really pleased that last Fridays snow has all gone, it was quite a bad day. My friend was coming round for a crochet day and had to come by taxi because it was so bad, the roads were still covered when Phil and I took her home after 4pm.
Update on last year
We have had a really good year lots of pattern and wool sales and lots of fun at 2 shows.
Louise is a whizz at computer jargon like Twitter, instagram and facebook and started last January dragging me up to date. I can never remember which is which and what I am supposed to do on where !!!!!! This blog is about my limit on social media.
This years Resolution is to work on Marketing and we have joined a super Awesome Marketing Scheme to help us on our way this will also be Louises job. It is The Girls Mean Business run by Claire Mitchell.
I have encouraged Louise to start designing and thinking up lots of new ideas. I only wish that we could make the patterns as quickly as we can think them up....... There are quite a few in the pipeline...
Last year was a productive one I made new dolls and many blankets
Scarves, bags and cushions
I really didn't realise how many things I had made this is just a small selection.
Louises Christmas Tree Blanket was picked by Stylecraft for Clever Crafters
I love to crochet but I have continued to knit squares and other small items as well as teach workshops and classes
The next workshops will be listed soon more for beginners and maybe one for learning how to make a simple doll.
Keep looking back on our workshop page, we still have places available on Januarys workshops.
Wishing you all the best for the New Year and we hope you keep your resolutions
Ali and Louise xx
