Louise’s April Blog – Day 25 & 26 - New blanket and planning
Hello, I can't believe we are nearly at the end of April, we have enjoyed a mixture of weather this month but the past few days have been really cold. I didn't get the chance to write a post yesterday as my husband was working away and the boys kept me very busy. Helping George with more homework and Oliver has developed the art of dramatic fake crying, plus he has a wobbly tooth which seems to be troubling him.
New blanket project I have started working on a blanket that I have been planning for months. I can see this being a long term project as I am going to need to knit lots of squares.
I have decided to knit the squares using the brioche technique, because I want the blanket to be warm and squishy.
Planning and organising I have been feeling a bit muddled this week, so I spent sometime planning and organising blog ideas, new pattern design release dates, instgram posts and social media ideas. I tend to do most of our social media and its amazing how much time it can take to keep things up to date, plus you can get easily distracted by all the fab crocheting and knitting content on instagram. Don't forget to give us a follow on instagram if you are not already.....Ali Crafts Design / Wool to your door Instagram
I am off to do some more knitting and watch Les Mis,
