Louise’s April Blog – Day 15 - Getting ready for school

April Blog - Day 15Hello, Oliver is back at school tomorrow and George goes back on Tuesday.  I feel like they have been off school for a very long time.  Routine does us all good and they are eating us out of food.  The weather really has made the holidays harder.

New cast on I did manage to have a lovely break on Saturday night. My Mam, Sister, Auntie and I went out for tea.  I then stayed at my Sister's house and we had a great night, played cards, watched Harry Potter and had a few gins.

I also cast on a new pair of socks.  This is the Rose City Rollers pattern by Mara Catherine Bryner on Raverly and I am using some yarn oddments I have left over.  These are going to be short ankle socks,  great for the warmer weather that is forecast to be around the corner.

I have not made much progress today on any projects as I have been doing housework and preparing uniforms and lunch boxes.

Tweedy in the sale In a previous post I talked about the Stylecraft Tweedy range when it was released, we have dropped the price to an amazing £3.00 per ball.  Take a look at this gorgeous yarn here.
