Finished Object - Just Knit It

Hello, What a week! Two poorly children meant Mam and I didn't get together last week and we had a lot of work planned. Hopefully we will manage to do some work on Wednesday.

Finished Object - Just Knit It I was going to frog (pull out) this project as I felt it was going to take too long, but when the boys were off school I found it great to just pick up and knit in-between looking after the poorly people. The pattern is free on raverly, Just Knit It - 2012. This is a super simple pattern but has different ideas for borders and colour changes. I managed to knit the bulk of this shawl in about three days.

The yarn I used was Zauberball Crazy which is really interesting yarn to knit with and the colour changes make it so much fun. I decided to keep it simple and not add a border, so I just kept knitting until the yarn was running low.

I also didn't leave the house for 6 days, so cabin fever was really starting to kick in.

Day out at Lordstones The boys were well enough to go back to school on Monday.  It was also our 13th Wedding Anniversary so we went to Lordstones with Mam and Dad. Lordstones is a Country Park in Carlton Bank, Chop Gate, North Yorkshire.  It only take us just over 30 minutes to get to so it is great for a quick walk and bite to eat.

Dad took a great photograph of the stones on our walk before it started raining.  It has been really nice to have a bit of cooler weather as the past few days have been really humid.

Have a crafty week,
