Cabaret, Cabins and Cake
Hi Weather Report
A little frosty on the car this morning, its nice and bright for a change. Weather change !!! now its wet and windy.
I have been busy this week working on a new scarf pattern using Stylecraft Cabaret, I am really loving the colour changes it seems to be working up beautifully. We have 3 colours in stock at the moment and I am sure we will be getting more soon, it is lovely and soft even with the sparkle threading through. Stylecraft Cabaret for sale on Wool to your door.
I think I might make some wrist warmers to match this as well, maybe after Christmas.
I have also made some wrist warmers and a Christmas bauble. The wrist warmers have been worked in some of the 4ply yarn we dyed earlier in the year. Pattern will be added today to the into shop.
!! Louise and I have decided to have a new competition look out for this next week !!
Classes and workshops
I have some workshops arranged for the New Year for details please check the workshop page.

We went out for a drive on Monday to take Louise out for lunch and as soon as we set off it started to rain, it continued to be bright sunny spells and very heavy rain.. So we stopped for coffee and teacake and a very large piece of cake for me. Drove on for a while longer and the weather was the same, so we stopped to take a photograph and turned back and went to the cafe again for lunch.......
Louise took these looking across to Roseberry Topping and Captain Cooks Monument
She caught the threatening sky and by the time Phil was ready the moment had passed
Perhaps next time we may have better weather.
Although we all enjoyed the cafe and lunch and looking round the farm shop at The Lordstones.
It was too muddy and wet to look closely at the stones we will try again one day.
They have glamping cabins and Louise and I have always wondered what they were like, so managed to have a quick look at their site in-between the rain storms. They are set in a little park and well spaced out around 2 small ponds. It looked lovely. Don't think I could manage not to have a shower every day. I think Louise would like to try and the cafe is open for breakfast and lunch and dinner, so they would be well fed.....
Ok thats all for today, happy crocheting everyone, keep warm and safe.
Ali and Louise xx
