Ernie the Elf - Free crochet pattern

Hello,

Weather Report

It looks a bit cold this morning although it looks bright, I may get some more washing out today.

Holiday

Well, what a lovely few days Phil and I have had in Scotland, this time on the Ardnamurchan Peninsular. The weather was great we had lots of sunny days.

We rented a house by the shore of Loch Sunart which was in a perfect setting so that Phil could spend time outside taking photos.

We saw quite a few rainbows.

Photography in Scotland

The bottom picture was taken just outside the door.

Lovely rock pools and beaches with shells.

Oh and the Jacobite steam train going over the Glenfinnan viaduct.

The most exciting thing that happened was we saw 3 pine martens every night and 2 badgers, it was great to see these beautiful creatures. we spent most evenings watching them , so did not have as much crochet and knitting time as I would have done normally.

Finally would you be able to cook on this, I have seen a lot of cookers like this there was a large one in our first house but this was only about 2 metres wide and high. it was tiny.

Ok so here is the pattern promised

Ernie the Elf - Free crochet pattern

I have decided to offer this pattern for free. I designed this pattern in 2010 and Ernie has been a very popular make. He is a very quick project so would make a great gift for any age. There are 2 to make one to hang up and the other is made to sit.
