Sewing and lots of progress
Another very quick week this week I can’t believe it is Thursday again.
The weather is changing and Autumn is just around the corner. We have a cloudy sky today but it is quite bright and its a little cooler.
Louise and I have spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, having fun with the sewing machine she received for her birthday.
Of course she bought a lovely bag to put it in.
We starting by making a simple bag and then moved onto this more complicated bag. It is a lovely pattern by Cool Crafting called Pixie Bag.
This week I feel like I have finally come to the end of the slump I have enjoyed the things I have worked on so much.
I have worked on lots of things.
I tested a knitted square that Louise has designed.
Started a mystery knit along to knit a gnome, sorry we can’t show any progress because it is a mystery.
I found the first part ok but the second one is quite fiddly.
Finished a new crochet toy design I hope design will follow soon.
And finally started on a wrap for Jayne at Homefarm Wensleydales.
New Stock in Shop
We have some new yarns and some more coming this week.
And we ordered 2 colours of the Batik Swirls just to try them out.
This is the free pattern from the ball band.
The wardrobes are finished and we are waiting for the decorator, we hope he will be starting on Monday. I can’t wait to get things sorted out and back to normal. Then I will be able to find things, I am messy and have too much crafting stuff, but I don’t like everywhere to be so out of place and untidy.
I hope you have had a good week
