After the windy day yesterday we have another windy but warm day.
Well its almost here, the time to pack and travel to Newbury for the Southern Wool Show. Our car has its box on the roof and ready to go. Our hall and landing have been covered with lots of stuff for days now and I am wondering if it is all going to fit.
Louise and are very excited to get there and get ready for Saturday. We have a fairly long drive about four and a half hours, that means at least 5 hours with me driving.
Car is now full I just need to pick up Louise on Friday morning and we will be on our way.
I think I am still not settled with what I want to work is has been very hard to decide what to do with myself, perhaps it has been too warm.
We have been sitting in the gazebo and enjoying the garden.
I have done a bit of knitting and a bit of crochet but not as much as usual.
I have cast on a sock ready to take, but can’t think what else I need to take to do, thats not like me…….
We have published three new crochet patterns this week.
We have not had much time this week to do any work on the sewing machine
It really is in a terrible state I am not sure wether to clean all the paint off and start again. this may mean sacrificing the painted decals, but I have found somewhere in America who sells similar designs. Would you continue or give up? I think it is going to be harder than I thought to get it into a working machine.
It does work but it is the rust that is the problem, any ideas please?
Please note we will be shutting the online shop while we are at the show - Friday 30th until Monday 2nd September. Any questions please email us.
Right breakfast finished, blog finished, bags all packed and off I go.
