In Trouble Again
Oh my gosh I am in trouble I forgot it was Thursday, Phil and I have been sorting in the garage, clearing up again. We took a load of junk to the tip this week and have almost got another load ready to go.
Why oh why do we keep so many half empty paint tins………
So here we go…
Damp start today and then we have had some sunshine and now it is clouding over again and very very windy.
With yet another pile of ironing I had the cloths from the show and they are so big they take forever to iron.
Well that job over and on with the next..
We have found an old Singer Sewing machine, which came from Phil’s Uncles house some time ago.
I have decided to clean it up to see if it still works. I really love these old machines.
Phil has been polishing the lid and I have been cleaning some of the metal bits. So far it seems pretty good, just a few rust marks and some paint needing to be replaced. The lid is in a bit of a state but it is old and was in Phil’s Uncle’s garage when we found it.
British Wool Show
I am still clearing up all the boxes and getting ready for the next show in 2 weeks time, If you did not see the earlier blog on Monday. We had a great time and loved talking to everyone..
The next show for us is the Southern Wool Show at Newbury Racecourse. A long drive for us on Friday and we will hope to be set up in time on Saturday. I hope we see some of you there, please stop by to see us and say hello.
I have been asked by Jayne from Home Farm Wensleydales to design 2 new items in her lovely 4ply yarn, so my work in progress this week is a small caplet.
Opal Sock Yarn
We ordered some new colours of Opal 4ply and Double knitting sock yarn this week and I don’t know which one I want to try.
The colours have been taken from paintings again like the Monet collection we have in stock.
So now it is almost lunchtime and I am feeling hungry
I will try to remember Thursday next week, so sorry I was late.
