Busy doing nothing?
Beautiful day today, it really looks warm and sunny.
My week has been busy doing nothing
It feels like I have had a busy week, as I sit here to write about it, I can’t quite remember what on earth I was doing, apart from cleaning, washing and gardening. Oh and having visitors, our grandchildren were off school and we saw them lots more this week.
The days are passing by far too quickly.
We had an afternoon out on Monday, we went for a walk at Hayburn Wyke near Scarborough, it was a beautiful afternoon just a bit windy.
Crochet and knitting
I am still working on finishing things and this weeks finished work is a knitted squares blanket, I have started to crochet a bag to keep it in. All I need to do now is block it and it is completed. It is going in the car for me to sit on when we go out.
As you can see from the picture above I get to see some lovely places but usually have to sit on rocks.
More holiday pictures
This one sitting outside on a very hot afternoon
One holiday picture I love the colours in this one we may have to design a blanket from this….
The back log of patterns to be typed up has been going down and I will be caught up soon. I really must keep on top of them and not get so far behind, I am feeling so much better knowing I have got so many finished. Clearing up the typing seems to have cleared my mind as well.
We have added 5 colours of Regia silk 4ply to the shop this week this is a super soft yarn, I have loved working with it, I have designed a shawl/ scarf pattern with this pattern is going to be ready soon.
That is all for today, I want to go and bake a cake from a recipe I got from Sheila at Dunnet B and B Escapes, I have not baked for ages so we are looking forward to this one. I will let you know next week if I was successful.
Bye for now
