Sunshine, socks and flowers

Good morning

Weather Report

Lovely bright morning this morning with a cold chill in the air…

Easter Weekend

Wow, what a lovely weekend it was here in the North East of England.

We had our gazebo out for the first time this year and spent quite a few hours sitting in the garden.

We had a busy day on Sunday our family all came for lunch and some stayed for tea..

I love sitting in the garden it is so quiet in our road, we sat for some time watching the robins flitter around.

No pictures they were too quick..

Wips

I have finished a pair of socks that I have made for Phil. These were made using a ball of Opal sock yarn.

Unravelling

Spent some time unravelling a lovely hank of yarn Louise tried to wind into a ball.

Dyed a few hanks of yarn in dark red and dark blue outside while it was warm.

I have to rewind them into nice tidy hanks now.

Finally I am designing a new baby blanket but I will keep that secret for the moment sorry.

Yesterday classes started again last night after the holidays, I have one this afternoon and I have a workshop tomorrow.

I think thats all for now.

The weather is very changeable its dark and cold and miserable now.. how quickly it changes… bring back the sun …..
