Triffids, Paddy's Hole and Knitting
I hope I find you all well today
Miserable and wet this morning
New work in progress
I said I was not going to start any more projects until I had finished more
Louise said I should have a sock on the go so I started one on Monday using Stylecraft Head over Heels All Stars in Splash
It is so relaxing to just knit and not to have to think.
Oops it seems to have grown even more last night…
On Monday afternoon we went to Redcar Paddys Hole.
Freezing cold wind, I stayed in the car knitting perhaps that is why my sock has grown we waited for the sun to set for about 2 hours. My pictures are not too good through the car window, I would not get out.
Knitted scarf still on the go
I can’t do too much of this, it seems to make my arm hurt, perhaps it is the weight of the yarn and number of stitches, I don’t really know it has not happened to me before.
I have made a little progress on Higgledy Piggledy this week but not quite enough to show.
I am also doing well with sales on Ebay to make room for more yarn, grab a bargain while you can. When they have gone they will be gone.
Day of the Triffids
I received an amaryllis plant for Christmas.
This was its picture Friday last week.
And this is it this morning amazing growth isn’t it?
Preparing for shows
Louise and I have been preparing for our first show of the year
We are going to Spring into Wool at Leeds Grammar School in April
Products needed pictures yesterday and we braved the cold to go outside to take them.
I wish I had known that Phil was taking sneaky pictures of us from the window.
We will be adding kits to the shop as we make them up.
Freddie from my Fred Bear pattern is now ready with a choice of 6 colours.
Well this has taken ages this morning I clicked the wrong button and lost all of it and had to start again and I had been prepared with the titles and main content on Monday. Not happy now, this is the third time I have written it all out, I don’t know what went wrong but it happens!!!!!!!!!………
Thank you for taking the time to read
Goodbye for now
