Two finished objects - Bobble Marley Hat and Tatty Blanket
The last few weeks seem to have been filled with both my boys full of cold and having to be off school. With having more time in the house this week I have managed to finish two items.
I seem to have a lot of really big projects on the go, a blanket and two garments. I do like to chop and change between projects. When the days are busy I like projects that I can just pick up and put down at a moments notice. I have been seeing the Bobble Marley hat pattern by Becci Pamely-Bast a lot on instagram so I thought I would make some for my boys.
This hat is made using scraps of 4ply yarn, two strands held together. I have started to acquire a larger collection of scraps after knitting a few pairs of socks. This hat knitted up so quickly and fitted George perfectly.
I started this crochet blanket a few months ago but stopped working on it. I picked it back up again last week and enjoyed it so much I really was keen to get it finished.
I made 100 squares to make a big square blanket, perfect for this colder weather. Again this project was made mainly using 4ply scraps and Stylecraft Special DK. in cream which has given it a soft colourful look.
I still haven’t had chance to take proper final photographs. The weather this week has been very dark and gloomy.
